Hello, I wonder what brightness is best to use on a Macbook screen when editing video in FCPX, I haven't calibrated my screen but with our without calibration I'd like to know what brightness other people set, because I tend to have it on 100% all the time, is that too much? If I lower it, my shots (and the whole interface) tend to look too dark.

I always use them at 100% too, but it doesn't really matter as that's just for eye comfort.

Any real calibration has to be done by looking at scopes and graphs on something with proper colors/output.

Ambient light plays into it, but when I've calibrated my RMBP with a probe and software before(X-Rite i1), it usually put the brightness around 50%.
