    Hi,

If i have 4k footage on the timeline and want to render out a 4k file, under MainConcept Mp4 i cant seem to be able to find any render template which allows me to set the bitrate manually. Constant Bitrate only has a drop-down and in that its either 50Mbps or the next in the list is 135Mpbs. What if i want around 80-90Mbps ?

Please do help me asap as i need to render out a job specific file.

    Thanks a ton !

Just use the Variable Bit Rate section and type in 90Mbps in BOTH BOXES. Under the frame size select CUSTOM and put in the size you want, such as 4096 x 2160. See render dialogue below as an example. Also see file info grab as confirmation of bit rate.

    Good luck

    Hi Chris,

I did try that actually before posting here. But the thing is that the final video showed a bitrate lower than the average bitrate set. Properties of the resulting video showed AVERAGE BITRATE = 42 Mbps. There seems to be no way to bottom cap. Only an upper cap and an average (which allows it to go even below that average).

Could you let me know what you think.

    Thanks a lot
