For sale is a fairly extensive Modulus 3000 wireless analog video (and audio / timecode I believe) kit in custom case. These used to be very expensive, and when they'd come up for sale it would usually just be the transmitter. Well, they're still in use, and here's a rare opportunity to pick up one with a bunch of extra bits.

Located in LA and local inspection or in-person cash transactions welcome. References available upon request.

Asking $399 PayPal'd and shipped to confirmed US address.
Reduced $325 PayPal'd and shipped to confirmed US address.
Reduced $299 PayPal'd and shipped to confirmed US address.
Reduced $275 PayPal'd and shipped to confirmed US address.
Reduced $259 PayPal'd and shipped to confirmed US address.
Reduced $245 PayPal'd and shipped to confirmed US address.

Please reference the pictures. This sale includes the following:

1 - Modulus 3000 video and audio transmitter in good used condition, showing some wear but no damage and no engravings. Velcro on one side.

1 - BNC antenna. Has hinged joint and can be adjusted 90-degrees.

    1 - BNC antenna 6dB attenuator.

1 - BNC to Amphenol cable.

    1 - Anton-Bauer 2-pin to Hirose 6-pin power cable.

1 - Canare 1/4" phono to Hirose 4-pin audio cable.

1 - Spare brand new Hirose 4-pin connector in bag.

1 - Quick start laminated instruction card with connector wiring info.

    1 - Original custom case.

This operates in the UHF spectrum? What frequencies exactly?

And is only SD, not HD?

If you Google it, the first return should be a Radiant Images rental page. There is other info available online, as well. Per the Radiant page:

[Still one of the most powerful and effective miniature UHF standard def (NTSC / PAL) video transmitters on the market.
The Modulus 3000 is small enough to hang, strap or velcro practically anywhere on or around the camera.
Synthesized tuning allows each unit to switch externally with the turn of a dial to any UHF channel from 14 to 69.

Multiple units can work together anywhere in the world without interference.
    The Modulus 3000 features Composite 1V / 75 ohm,
Channel Frequencies: UHF USA CH 2-69,
Dimensions: 3.2"x2.2"x1.5" Weight: less than 8 oz.
    Power Input: 10-28 Vdc @ 1.2A (450mA nomimal),
Power Consumption Transmitter: up to 400 mA,
    Power Connectors: Hirose 6pin,
Transmits: through residential walls, floors, ceilings or crowds without picture interuption. Range: 300m (1000ft) line of sight.]

    * Note: I believe that the Radiant info is incorrect with regard to channels (in fact, they contradict themselves). Other sites, and the included, laminated instruction card, indicate that it operates on UHF channels 14-69 (not 2-69).

Though not HD, it is still widely in use, with various applications. In discussions on other forums, people can't believe what this used to sell for and that nobody's bought mine. ;)
