This article appears to be dated a week ago but they mention being at todayís press conference. They seem to be updating it live from the show.

It will be interesting to see how improved the new Sony color science mentioned in the article is.

So disappointing. I guess Sony doesn't want my money every two years. Oh well.

For those who are disappointed with the new FS5II, you should get the FS7. You really think that the new FS5 would have similar specs to the FS7?

Brutally disappointing. I'm stunned at how badly they've misjudged this one.

Well, it could have been same price as the FS7 (original)...

To me AF is important, and the FS7 has really bad AF... my dream cam is an FS5 with 10bit internal, ibis and really good AF... until that happens Iím sticking to my FS700...

Never gonna happen. Sony would not sell 2 similar products at the same price. Why would they do that?
For good AF, your 2 options are C200 and C300mkII.

Is this really correct? Sony said in press conference: "they have refined the color science, given the camera a more natural highlight roll off, improved skin tone rendition, and created a more elegant and organic looking image"

So they copy Venice then sell for 1/10th price?

I actually commend Sony for this. Their color science in the original fs5 was beyond terrible.

I am surprised by Sony because they usually cater to the specs crowd, but this targets those of us who care about the image quality more than anything, which is a nice change of pace.**

The footage I have seen looks amazing and the skin tones are wonderful rendered.

I am always intrigued by people hating on a camera before they have seen one frame from it. THe images look superb and should speak for themselves.
