Panasonic MFT lenses aren't even hardly the same lenses on a different camera. I have Panasonic GH cameras and a few Panasonic MFT lenses and there is SO much internal correcting being done in-camera that when I put those lenses on non-Panasonic cameras I thought there was something wrong. Yeah, it was REALLY noticeable.

So, for those using LR/PS on video: a few years ago there was a problem with flicker. IIRC, it was caused by a few specific sliders: you had to leave them at zero or change to a different ACR algorithm or something like that in order to eliminate the problem. Is this fixed in newer versions?

Back many moons ago when I studied VFX in college we would sometimes use filmstrip. Such a pita. Then Commotion came out and we never looked back. Man those were the days when even a standard definition comp required ram preview. The fact that I can now paint on 4k frames with a free copy of Fusion is just mind boggling. We have really come a long way in 20 years.

That's an understatement. The radical changes from the Umatic top loader days when I started to today would have been mind boggling back then. Back them buying a camera with an honest 700tv lines of resolution was a more than $100K prospect, now you can get a somewhat honest 4K (UHD) out of a $70 action cam.

IIRC, you have to change the camera calibration process to '2003'.

I cannot wait to see a full spec list from this new pocket camera. I am currently trying to sell my 2.5k model in hopes to add this to my arsenal. Selling will be tough though

Damned good question. I remember that. You get everything right and then move one thing and boom, all gone.

Then why mention at all the button on the front for while shooting yourself one handed? Seems clear to me what his intended meaning was.

There’s no screen. How could you ever shoot yourself with it. Was that actually what was said ?
