    Could this be true?

I sure hope so. I love the GH5, and would definitely add an "s" to my unit if this rumor is true!

43rumors said something about this a few weeks ago...supposedly there is a big Panasonic event on December 15th where they may reveal more info (another rumor).

Holy cow. Sign me up if true.

If native ISO became 800 and ISO 6400 looked as clean as GH5's current ISO 2500/3200, and another solid stop of DR was squeezed out, this thing would be a machine...

Already sold, but, big BONUS: Throw in a CPU somehow capable of 10-bit 422 4k @ 60p (dreaming a little here, I know) and a slightly bigger, brighter, higher resolution LCD screen and game-over.

    Thanks for sharing this!

I will throw my hat in this ring. These are just rumors but I think would be a chance for Panasonic to remedy its autofocus problem with the GH5. Lets face it, the GH5 would be the perfect small video tool if it had awesome AF. It does not. The new G9 camera Panasonic just released does. So I think this new camera is a GH5 with the G9 sensor, processing abilities and phase detect auto focus.

The autofocus is the only thing giving me pause about moving to the GH5. I hope this rumor is true. I also hope they would get the HFR up to 240 fps to match the Sony RX 10 series. Then this camera would be a slam dunk for me.

The low-light version probably would have a sensor with less MPs (meaning it wouldn't be the G9 sensor).

Good point. Well, lets hope the AF is improved no matter what sensor is used!

Here is a video posted on DPReview regarding the Panasonic press conference. Could the mystery camera be the GH5s? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc_4YIMoOfA
