Using a telephoto lens, i wouldnt shoot the sun without some serious NDs. However, i'm wondering if its harmfull to photograph the sun (eclipse) using super fast shutter speeds and a closed down aperture. On a DSLR The sensor wouldnt be exposed to the sun until you take the photo. While composing the shot I can use solar eclipse glasses. Could the prism/mirror focus the sun and burn a hole through the glasses? Thoughts?
