    If they aren't already, Panasonic should make their own Firestore-esque product using P2 cards. Maybe they could even power it using the standard DVX/HVX batteries. That would be awsome!

    heh. Obviously this doesn't matter to buyers of the HVX200, but could you imagine if Panasonic released something like that to the reast of the world? They could have the DTE market pwned!

    I think that at present the cost per GB is still too high to "own" the market. You can get an equivalent priced hard drive option with 10 times the storage!

    Yeah, I guess I'm thinking more when samsung releases their "amazing" 32BG flash card in 2006. Prices might be driven down far enough by then. We'll see.
