Toying around with the Gh5 today. What a camera! Really sets the bar of how compact cameras should be.

I agree with you dustylense, wholeheartedly. I received mine today from Adorama, what a beast.

First impressions are that I feel like I have a BMD pocket camera with Canon color science that actually works with no worries and batteries that last forever. Images stabilization is outstanding. Handholding 300mm shots with great success. Panasonic knocked it out of the park with this camera. They will sell so many of them.

Loving how the camera prompts you set the focal length to optimize the Image Stabalization when it detects a dumb lenses. Was worried I'd forget that step when swapping focal lengths. Not sure if that works if the camera isn't shut down during lens swaps, but that's not best practices anyways.

Got mine from 3Dbroadcast Sales in the UK and had zero time to test before I had to use it on an interview.

Zeiss Otus 55mm on Speedbooster XL. Straight out of the camera - Cinelike D 4k 150mbs. ISO 250
No heat issues or noise issues. The line input via the xlr adapter was great.
I then had to do some walking shots just holding the camera in my hand with the Leica 12-60mm and IS and while not perfect it yielded more useable shots than I was expecting it to.
EDIT: Click on pic to see it properly - embedding does weird things to the sharpness.

Speed booster perfect with my Otus. Not happy on the Sigma 18-35 at anything other than widest. Would lock up.
My friend has 5 Canon zooms and says none of them work, although until a firmware update there is a multi step workaround.
