Here is some street videography taken in cinemascope with SLR Magic anamorphot 1.33x-40. As you can see rack focus works good and is easy to do. The combo with the prime lens is quite compact and lightweight.

    GH4 slow motion mode 1080p
    SLR Magic anamorphot 1.33x-40
    on Pentax 40mm f2.8 at f4
    Hoya ND filters
    music : Superpitcher "People"
Lumetri (SL Bleu Intense (Universal)) + slight levels corrections

Thanks to Andrew Chan from SLR Magic, Emmanuel, Tchie-Kung and Nina

Have you ever used one of the old Century 1.33x adapters? Just wondering how they compare if you have had the chance to use them.

Did I you use the Anamorphic mode in the GH4? How does the Bokeh look? Would it be possible to see some low light or night time stuff? I have been looking for clips from this lens, but there is not a lot out there.

I don't get why B&H is selling them for $699, with a Sony Emount 50mm, and $799 with out. I don't want or need the Sony lens, but seems dumb not to buy that one and save $100.

I'm not on the anamorphic mode, but in 25P 16/9 UHD. The bokeh looks good but less anamorphic look than in stronger anamorphic 1.5, 1.75 or 2x. I'm about to do some stuff with the 25mm 0.95. Stay tune on my vimeo
