I have not had any luck in finding an Android app that will allow me to quickly calculate the Depth of Field when using the Canon XF300 camera. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Existing DoF apps do not seem to cover anything except DSLRs. I've been told it might be possible to use one of these DSLR apps, but when I dug into it deeper the app seemed to require that I input a lot of miscellaneous parameters for which I did not know the answers.

    Thanks.

    Dan

You could find a DSLR model with a 1/3" chip and choose it from the list on this site - http://dofmaster.com/dofjs.html That would be a close approximation.

    Thanks, this helps.

The online version of DoF Master has an option for a 1/3rd inch sensor size and it appears as though the author is contemplating an Android version.

    Thanks, again.
