If you're like me, you should probably see someone about that growth on your back.

And if you're like me, you love Leica glass. I had a chance last year to shoot a campaign with the Summicron Cine Primes (thanks, Gear!), and they're amazing. I've also owned a set of Leica-R lenses in the past, and one of my greatest regrets is selling them.

This year, Leica/Sonderoptic showed the Macrolux, a +1 diopter that's compatible with all sorts of cine lenses, including Arri Ultra Primes and their Master Anamorphics. Basically, the Macrolux cuts down the minimum focus distance for easier macro work, but it's also useful to get shallower depth of field at wider focal lengths and smaller apertures.
