Nice place. Congrats. And I heard Nuuk has the highest per capita ladder sales in the world. I'm not sure if that statistic is true, but ...

yes indeed. The italians control the ladder industry here, and they have been firebombing my house because they don't like my kind in town.. at 6' 7" I don't need ladders, and my neighbors have opted to bake me cookies to get me to patch their roofs instead of paying $140 for the Ferrari-branded ladders.

This is a problem that I hope will pass, because my house isn't as fire-proof as my house back in Vancouver for some reason. however I am delighted to discover I had built in Fire sprinklers! Seems like that cold white insulation on my roof magically turns into water when it senses fire.

Yeah, them Ferrari ladders look really sexy, but just try to get one fixed and you'll see what they really cost to own!

Sure. But at least they don't reflect key lights (unlike their taller, but cheaper competition).

Now, back to the film discussion ...

First film to make me laugh...The f. off, (out loud), the blouse opening, (to myself(though might have had a little more flesh going on(bad Jarred(should have pushed for it)))
    Funny, wasnt expecting it...
Don't give any of the prizes to Jarred, hes rich enough, but maybe not now after the bandwith...
Good work fellas...Top notch, have a steak, raw.
Your main actor reminded me of Ash a little, only a good thing.

Wow. I get home, crack a beer and find your message. Even a smile would have satisfied me - but a laugh? Thanks.

And Jarred (rather strongly) suggested that the female camper role be played by a guy, but I resisted. And even if it were an issue, the prizes would be worthless to Jarred as he's had to sell all his video equipment to pay for the extra bandwidth (I saw him eyeing a used 8mm Sony on eBay earlier). Save-the-Jarred-Fund donations will soon be able to be made through your local bank.

Thanks Big. We had fun making it - finished shooting after about four hours and ten minutes (put about an additional three hours into set-ups and makeup). Pretty simple stuff and a pretty simple story (ultimately made even simpler by the fact that I had to cut out 1 min. 6 secs. to fit the damned entry requirements).

The intention was always only to have fun making it and (hopefully) bring a smile from the end result.

Now that I've seen the talent exhibited by the other entries, I'd probably try and ramp it up a few notches in the next go-round. Competition is good, but not necessarily for the ego!

Cheers, and thanks for taking the time to view and comment.

You took a strong comedic premise and blended it with technical professionalism...the best of all scenarios. Fistful of Flesh feels in every way "big-budgety".

    Good show.

Thanks very much Callaghan. Kind words.

For the next one, we're going "VERY big-budgety" by upping our pizza order to $175. (Scary when the biggest budget item is pizza - and the cast and crew didn't even drink all the beer).
