A green screen day with the van....

Everything seen here (other than the 20 foot green screen against the wall) came from the van, including Kino 4x4, Joker 1600, 800, 400, Canon C300 Mk II, etc. Also used but not seen: Dana Dolly, Kessler Jib, and client monitors.

Pics of the latest addition to the Los Angeles Production Van: the SmallHD 1303 HDR monitor! It's a 13" monitor that has 1500 nits of brightness, which means you can clearly see it in broad daylight, without any kind of cover (see pic taken in direct sun). We added it to our inventory because we were sick of squinting at conventional monitors during outdoor gigs.
The monitor also can show dual angles at once, and has tons of exposure and color measurement tools.
When you use the Production Van, you can choose to bring our conventional 17" studio monitor, or this new outdoor monitor, depending on your needs. At $75 to bring both.

A recent addition to the Production Van's list of standard equipment: the Litegear LitematPlus 4 (the big one). This big, soft LED is super-versatile...it's so lightweight, you can easily put it on the end of a boom arm, or hang it from a ceiling, or tape it to a wall. Clients find a use for it on just about every shoot...

The LA Production Van recently provided all the gear and camera/lighting crew for this kitchen shoot featuring Tiffany Haddish for Lawry’s Seasoning Salt.

We rented the Van a while ago to shoot a project for Sony. It was excellent! Will definitely be renting it again. Killer value!
It's a business first and a creative outlet second.
G.A.S. destroys lives. Stop buying gear that doesn't make you money.
