I've seen Jarred go postal, well, I mean, I saw him go postal in my dreams... it involved a broken off broomstick and peanut butter. Now while you may be thinking "That doesn't sound half bad, John", trust me fella, you'd be wrong. It was chunky peanut butter.

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://zombiefest.dvxunleashed.org/ARSENICOLDCHILI.wmv

    The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for zombiefest.dvxunleashed.org
    The dnsserver returned:

Name Error: The domain name does not exist.
    This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.

I'll just try again when I get home.

    Hi all,

I tried dumping my DNS cache and releasing and renewing my IPCONFIG, etc. but I am still getting the following pop up window when I try to access a film:

"zombiefest.dvxunleashed.org could not be found. Please check the name and try again. "

I restarted my computer, cleared my browser cache, etc., etc., but nothing worked.

    Any suggestions, techies?

    disjecta,

My work computer hasn't gotten the correct IP yet either, and it's a Mac, so I don't know how to jury rig it. I'd repost the workaround for PC, but I'd have to go home to get the info (I think they deleted the old topic completely). You just gotta hope that your ISP's DNS servers refresh sometime soon.

    Hey Jarred and/or Barry,

I think it'd be a great idea to put a Zombiefest banner on the homepage, and send out a general email to all DVXuser members about the fest. There's a lot of people who either don't check the site often or don't visit this section, and everyone should see these movies! Just a thought, I know you're busy.

Is it better to download files one at a time in terms of speed or does it matter?

doesn't much matter but all I'm doing is downloading and it's even slower now then it was 20 minutes ago.... oh well. I'll hit them up @ 6:30 tomorrow moning when I get to work. It should be quick at that time.
