A couple eyars ago I bought a Small HD AC7 monitor and have loved it. I still use it with my HVX. Took some time to get it to match the footage...but that will be the case with anything.

How are you hooking it up? Is it the USB port?

Only way to get a live HD signal out of a HVX is through Component video cables. It uses a "VGA-like" locking connection that was found on some video equipment, I don't know if Panasonic still sells the cable, so we bought a Canon one which works fine.

USB & Firewire jacks I think are only for data transfer. Firewire can be used while recording to send DVCPro HD to a firewire computer / recorder.
Where are all the S-VHS hipsters?
