The quickest way is to go down to HMV and buy SpyKids 3D. I think two sets are included. The cheaper way is to order online:

Some other 3D DVDs that include glasses.

I modified my mounting plate the other day and was able to get the lenses 5 inches apart on centre. This will help to shoot objects closer to the lens. However, the lens shades won't fit.

This is as good as it gets without designing a special 3D camera body.

I tested with rosco gels and with the SharkBoy&LavaGirl lenses, and the second are miles ahead. Congratulations of your work. There are images that are really 3D (more than SpyKids!)

That's a great idea. Why not apply the same mount for shooting church service so that only one operator is needed.

With two cameras on the same tripod, one camera could have a tight shot, the other wide.

Most small churches don't have the budget for multi-camera setups, and manpower is sometimes a major problem also.

That will look like s*%t to intercut (since there's still one angle it'll still be boring) and the framing will be very very difficult (both cams arent individually adjustable...)

When you zoom a camera in or out, you also have to tilt up (zooming in) or down (zooming out) to frame the camera properly. On a set-up like this, you could not tilt your wide shot and close up independently. This would result in crazy framing on at least one camera, and your WS would move (tilt) when you don't want it to. In other words, not a good idea.

Genius as a stereo cam tho!
