Have just shot an event where the camera crashed/shutdown mid shot. This left me with a .mdt file instead of .MOV of just over 3gb.
Anyone know a way of recovering the footage from this? (just changing the file extension doesn't work)

Try some of the software from Panasonic to recover SD cards:

    Select the Software tab

Thanks Al, gave it a go and all seemed to be going well.
Said there was a problem and could recover it but after about 15 mins of watching the blue line making its way across the screen it came up with a message - "A file necessary for the restoration is not found. The specified restoration object cannot be recovered"
Tried it several time with the same result.
