I can tell you that the hack works great on my d600 and my d3200 but playback doesn't work on either camera at this point.

IF they play at all (even for a few seconds) just hit the fastforward button, on my D7000 at 2x the files plays the whole way rather than the 2 or 3 seconds at normal speed (I'm using the 36 bit hack).

Few observations noted with the patch:
    1. Record countdown starts as usual from 20 mins but stops at 6 mins still remaining. Hence the maximum record duration is 14 mins and the maximum file size is 4GB.
    2. Cannot record past 14 mins/4GB even in exFat formatted UHS-I SD Card.
    3. Can record for full 14 mins without interruption even in SD card as slow as Class 6 (Minimum performance is 6 MB/s = 48 mbps). I do not have slower card than Class 6 to test.
    4. I could playback recorded clips in camera (as long as 10 mins) even in Class 6 SD Card but the camera refused to show preview of 14 min/4 GB file even in UHS-I SD Card by displaying the message "Cannot display this file".
