No problem. When I first found out about the 2405FPW I almost bought it for $1199 (still a good deal compared to the Apple 23"), the full regular price, but did a little research and found out that there were previous coupon codes bring the price down to $900. So I waited and snagged it for $959 including shipping when I saw a coupon, but these days I think you can get it for $800 if you're a little patient. There's a bunch of coupon sites out there, but techbargains seemed to have the best Dell coupons and they keep a listing od older coupons, so you can check to see what you should be paying. I figured out that buying Dell products is like buying airline tickets--if you don't like the price, just check for coupons again in a few days.

Barry, how do you like the Dell monitor? is it well color corrected? I have a 15"dell whick gives bad colors, so color correction is a loss of time.

By the way, where do you people get the coupons?

I like the Dell, the colors and gamma can be adjusted to give a good image--but it's not a production monitor. At this point I haven't worked with it enough to do color correction and fine gamma adjustments with confidence, without a production monitor. It really depends on your needs, workflow, and eye--as to whether it's acceptable for color correction. LCD displays are constantly getting better, so the 24" Dell is incredibly better than my 18 month old NEC 17". If you feed it a signal through the composite inputs without doing any scaling--it looks pretty nice. For the coupons, check the site mentioned above.
