Haven't been in these parts for a while since I got my blackmagic cam, but this was the last thing I Dp'd on the 7d before I got the new cam. I will still use the 7d if its the right cam for the job though. (heck I even used my dvx the other day for a job)

edit: oh and I went to the movies and got a surprise...it played during intermission (yeh we still have those). It looked awesome in the theatre. First time I've seen something of mine projected in there...and the 7d looked great.

Very even, naturalistic lighting. Nice work. Interesting to hear about the 7D being projected on the big screen

Deep message, Commercial looked great, what was your post sharpening workflow, it was nice and sharp, but didn't look overly sharp or processed. Do you use unsharp mask ? if so what settings?

Thanks for watching fellas. I was very limited in lights on this... But made it work. I think i had two 400 divas and two 650 fresnels. One kino also started to act up. I also had to set the lights in such a way as to be able to get all the shots without adjusting the lights at all for different shots sizes in order to work fast because these kids can be a handful, and the less time spent on that the more time the director gets to get the shot properly. But it worked out. Re the edit i didnt edit or grade it so im not sure what the editor did re sharpening. I know i shot with sharpening maybe 2 notches up from 0.

I posted it based on what the 7D can do with EXT & INT locations with limited lighting, such as yours.
EXT was available with shiny boards and the INT was china balls. My apologies for adding it to your thread.

Oh cool. No worries. I was just wondering the reason why you'd post it here. You gave it. Its all good. The exteriors as I said looked real nice and the slider shots at the bar and shots of people taking looked nice. Not a huge fan of the performance though. Colour and lighting looks off to me. Wish it was uploaded in HD so we could see it better.
