    I appreciate that, Matt.

I'm very happy with what I've shot and am cutting together. Yeah, there's been a lot to cut around but it's been a fun film to make despite all kinds of obstackles in my way. (what movie? ;_)

I'm on Elton's corner if he doesn't want to show it, or show it in his own unique way. I've had my "disagreements" as a writer with a couple of directors, but I was able to mend misunderstandings. It's all part of the process working with people you don't know, which is exactly what filmmaking is really about - collaborating with strangers who you either work with again, or you don't, but you won't know until you get yourself out there.

I do think however writers need to have a better understanding of what directors go through, by possibly co-producing one. This no budget to low budget isn't cheap. I co-produced a film with Elton (few years ago when I had a hotel job) the expenses for food alone was alot. You think it's cheap to feed a "small" crew and cast? You have to feed them each time you film, and that's not including pick-up shots.

Writers don't think about that stuff. I think they focus so much on "their story" and "how they want it to be filmed" they forget they didn't pay a DIME to get that short film produced. I put out money for two films, got producer credit for a third for the "logistics" I was able to get through phone calls and such which saved the director a heap load of money.

When you write for a director keep in mind to let go and let them do the work, for they're the ones who spend days and nights, hours on end, to get the writer's word on film.

See it, don't see it, I'm with you Elton.

Writing is words on a page.

Filming is blood, sweat, tears, tension, and MONEY to get that film made.

Sure, can certainly use the help. So far, Zaza has helped me a great deal with some awesome stuff. Helped A HELL OF A LOT! That guy is a team player! Didn't have to do that and it is sincerely appreciated.

I have a cut basically done with original score and spotted sound fx in my timeline. Jeremy is working on more visual fx. Pretty happy so far. As far as the situation, I don't know. It is what it is. I am not a drama queen and just want to participate. I could actually be one of the first to upload which would be a real shocker.

    I appreciate the comments Charli.

Ahem...ill just quote Ferris and say "Oh, he's very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude."

Wow...thanks for the praise (I think?) you guys. I'm just your average Joe glad to lend a helping hand if I can...no strings attached. Both of you are stand-up people and I know would return the favor in a heartbeat, it's a pleasure to have gotten to know you both through this forum & I look forward to seeing this film completed.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must return to my film and slice off a little more "FRESH MEAT!
