Specific things, tricks, tools, or touches that help give you an edge in making your footage and edits "wow"

For example, "Colorista II" or "MB Mojo" or "subtle diffusion on all clips" or "36fps subtle slow motion" or a certain kind of shot, certain lighting trick, certain plug in, certain tool you purchased. Whatever, wide open.

Only rule, no general responses such "lots of practice" or "patience"... yes... we know. That's not what this thread is for

Kinos - big sources that fall off quickly - readily managed.

    ZazaSlider!
Reveals, push in, pull out, dutch slide, zolly, horizontal slide, vertical slide, etc.
Adding subtle movement to shots, that's what I like to see.

I am a corporate/non-profit promo shooter, mostly web delivery.

    - MAC translucent powder make-up
    - Using 4 inch cloth gaff tape to secure cables on a shoot. Clients usually notice and say "wow the last guy didn't do that!"
    - read all audio section stickies, and keep your eye on that forum
    - scout locations, look and listen for problems

The locked shot. No movement just let the scene happen.
