Can't let Canon users hog the spotlight, LOL. It's never the camera, guys, it's the shooter and their knowledge of photography....... and being in the right place at the right time.

    Any model, all levels.

Out of many you've posted Doc, I have to bump this one.

Thanks, Gord! There is a backstory on this pic. But I think it already somewhat shows it.

I have this thing for B/W right now. Here is another from the series of that kid and his family:

There was something about the sadness in his eyes that caught my attention.

Well... I bought the Wife a D600 5 months ago... but we took this ASL class which took up all (+plus any extra hours beyond 24...) our time. She volunteered to help the instructor with some images illustrating his book, and is just finishing that up (and getting in to verbal fist fights with the 'editor' and coauthor of said book... but I digress....). Anyway we've not had any time to evaluate the D600, other than I did a preliminary 'dust test' on the first one, there was dust, and the OCD sufferer could not abide that... so she got a replacement... but I've not even had time to test that one... and I think I'm going to go through the dust cleaning procedure before I let her see any results...

So, perhaps this weekend we'll go out and shoot some pictures... most likely dog pictures... but we'll see...

Finally made it to the back yard to see if this D600 is operational...

    Here's a couple of shots...

    A typical flower shot...

And a twisted shot, shutter a 1/8, and camera twisted during the exposure...

    Doggie pictures next...
