We had a color meter II with us on the show floor, and we clocked these lights as going from roughly 2700K up to 5500K.
There was no green spike evident at all (0 on the CC reading all the way through).

Nice, and very, very affordable. Two things one can particularly appreciate - consistent CRI across all the temps, and able to run on battery power. LED lights have come a long way...

That said - and right after I say it, I'm gonna run away, so all the stones thrown are not going to hit me - I'm waiting for something brighter... like A LOT brighter... at the same price point.

Also the diode was not a matrix of LED bulbs it was a single chip so the shadows had no stepping and were very clean just like a tungsten fixture

Here's a shot of the diodes they showed us (shot didn't make it into the video).
This should give you an idea of what Jason was referring to above.

This is impressive. Thanks for the post. I wonder if any has used a set extensively? I'm interested in finally upgrading from my Lowell tungsten kit LOL! I have never liked Kinoflo. big and cumbersome and don't produce too much luminance I really really dig this tunable color deal. A local store has a set on display and my beef with it is that it isn't very bright. It won't light up a room. But perhaps for 3 point interview it is enough?
