Can anyone point me toward any tutorials for the mixpre-d? I am an absolute noob to audio. I have been reading this forum for over a year so I've picked up some knowledge of the subject but, I am not sure what it is that I am trying to accomplish (or how to accomplish it!) with the MixPre-D. I realize that it will improve the quality of the Audio I am feeding into my AF-100 but not really sure what to do with the unit. Thanks for any help you may offer (I have already read all of the Stickies in the forum, and some of them more than once).

Simple.. Plug your (high quality) mic into the MixPre; plug the MixPre plug your recorder/camera. You must however first know the connectors, balanced, unbalanced, mic, line, pro, semi-pro operating levels and proper gain staging. I suggest you read books by Ty Ford and consider college classes.
