From the looks of it, even this beta image is very very promising. I think they need to work on coatings to deal with the slight reduction of contrast but so far...
This is pretty significant to me.
Changes a lot of things about APS-C... and will change MFT creative application in a great way.
REALLY looking forward to this on Blackmagic...

Wow, did we just witness progress in optics? Oh well, NASA did it for like 40-50 years ago, but still if this is as good as it sounds and looks then the BMC production queue just got significantly larger. ;)

The most shocking thing about this is that nobody has done it before in this application. It seems like such a simple, obvious idea. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Metabones said a mft version is coming. Up until recently (ie. mirrorless) the flange distance was too long on APS-C for this to work.
