Normally i sync my GH2s in premiere with plural eyes. One of the cameras has no audio so i am trying to sync manually.

Problem is it seems to get out of sync quickly. I havent had this problem before and am actually pretty good at manually syncing. (Cameras are same frame rate) Im stumped though anyone else have this problem?

Are there dropped frames in the video? A few dropped frames can throw everything off.

Ok, so i sped the clips without audio to 125% and they match up perfectly (no drift over an hour). Why would the GH2 losing audio cause this?

Are you sure the other camera didn't shoot 30p? Speeding up a 30p clip by 125% would give you 24p. If you are sure it was shot 24p perhaps your NLE is assuming it is 30p and shifting it.

    What NLE are you using?

Some hacks affect the audio sync. Some don't.

Everything was shot in 24p, and the computer recognizes it as such. The hack I used is Cake. I'm curious if further testing with this hack (with a disabled mic) would reveal similiar results.
