I am trying to export a 24 minute show from final cut with these specs in compressor:

    Video Specifications: HD
    Container Format Quicktime (.MOV)
    Video Codec XDCAM EX 1080i60
Optimal Bit Rate (CBR) (35 Mb/s VBR)
    Frame Width 1920
    Frame Height 1080
    Field Dominance Upper
    Frame Rate 29.97
    Audio Specifications:
    # of Audio Channels 2
    Audio Sample size 16 bit
    Audio Sample rate 48 KHz
    Audio Codec Linear PCM

I submit the file, and it fails after about 2 hours and it says: Failed: Quicktime Error -50

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Best thing to do is not to export from FCP using Compressor. I've never had good experiences with that.

Export a self-contained FCP movie at current project settings, then quit FCP and use either Compressor or MPEG StreamClip to do the conversion outside of FCP.
Nobody notices audio... until it's not there.
