Hey okay, Iíve been traveling the past few months and itís unlikely Iím up to speed . . . couple that with there are times that I simply overlook things but, I did something I rarely do this weekend . . . shot a wedding (because it was for a good friend) . . .

I get a Panasonic e-mail overnight pushing the AG-HPX255, consider it again but quickly decide, ďnah, Iím getting beautiful stuff with my AF-100 . . . maybe Iíll just buy another one of those?Ē
I had just returned the new 12-35 to LensRentals, knowing Iím definitely going to pick up one of those but then . . .

In checking for the new pricing on B&Hís website (for the AF-100) I see the following note:
ďthis item has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.Ē

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ur_Thirds.html

Please tell me thatís a mistake or that Iím overlooking something pertinent to the topic or simply, ďSAY IT AINíT SO!Ē

Wow! That's a bit of a shocker. I'm not in the market for another one but you'd think we'd hear word of a replacement before seeing this. I wonder how B&H makes that determination? Is it that they cannot re-stock at the present time or is it a matter of their Panasonic sales rep telling them so.

Well, it's been almost 2 years. Maybe it is time for a revamping. Have you had the chance to see the GH3 specs? Pretty impressive.
i would like to see those specs in a AF100 style body with a M 4/3 mount.
I imagine a new camera is in the works. As I understand it, the AF100 sales are kinda flat. With the low cost of the camera I hope users have made their money by now. Hopefully they will keep the HDSDI out and XLR's. If this is true, it's gonna be a very interesting year.
