Hi, as per title, I have set my 250 to scene F5 in order to shoot @ 24fps. When I switch to that setting a barred A.REC alert appears and no audio is recorded. Is this correct? How to avoid this issue?

It also happens on both my 250's and on my 171.

    No problem on the DVX100.

    Thanks for the help!!!

    JC

If you in VFR, no audio will be recorded.

    Turn VFR off.

    Matt,
    Thanks for the reply.

I turned VFR off, but not it records in 25PN, not 24P.

Scene F6, with VFR on records in 24P but without audio.

i think that is because you are in Italy and you're suppose to record in Pal(50hz).

If you want to record in 24p just switch it in 60hz(NTSC) so you won't be in VFR at 24 frames.

    kabtv,

    got it!

I switched to 720-59.94 and then AVC-I100 /24PN. It works perfectly.

I also found out to stay in 720-50P and then AVC-I100 /50P instead of 25PN.

It records audio, but it greatly lowers the card capacity.

    Thank you!
