For details. The actual installation takes no longer than any other firmware option .. the steps prior to that require that
you order the CD from a retailer.

1.12-00-0.00
Can I update directly to last firmware ?

Yes you can go directly to the latest firmware.

You will still need the CD as it has the keycode for the software. It will not be enabled without it. Sorry.
Yes I would love to be able to make it a downloadable and credit card purchase, but there happens to be a bigger issue to making that happen. I know it sounds simple but it's not.

Not simple, but maybe a software that can check the camera serial via internet and update it online (after paying for that serial) should be nice.
Anyway, in my opinion a firmware update that costs about 5% of the camera sale price is quite expensive.
