I wanted to use my DVX100 to make stop motion with Dragon Frame software, so anybody knows if the software supports the camera? On the web sites it doesn't spoke of it.

    thanks!

Adobe OnLocation (used to be called DVRack), Laird firewire cables, (36 and/or 72 ft.) into a Laptop with a ieee1394 port and a dvx, (I was using DVX100A cameras), worked absolutely perfectly for doing this. Then the world moved forward. Seems like forever ago now.

The DVX100 can do stop-motion by itself too, as long as it's a DVX100 or DVX100A. The DVX100B doesn't have the single-frame recording option, but the original DVX100 and DVX100A do.

Yeah I know, but I tried once or two and every time I would capture the tape with Final Cut, it only found broken timecode or doesn't cue on tape. I rather plug the cam trought FireWire and use the Dragon Motion program. But the Interval REC works fine! But still, I rather use the program.

So any tought about Dragon Motion supporting the DVX100?
