I have the FSB 8T head on Vinten pozilock legs and love it. If you can get the FSB 8T, the T is a quick release that lets you pop the camera on and off without sliding it in and rebalancing. You won't regret it.

just my 2 cents, but you'll wish you didn't get the Libec because of the floor spreader. i love the miller tripod. it's light, offers a quick setup, is smooth and steady. i have the DV20 with carbon fiber legs. love it. a tripod is definitely something i'd consider picking up used as well. here is one on ebay.
good luck.

I’m looking to get a Miller Compass15 soon. I like the system. I use a Gitzo mountaineer with a 75mm adapter and it works great but want that for stills so the Miller legs are what I want.

Miller, best tripods available, service is second to none.
Got hit by a horse earlier in the year, Solo legs got smashed. Flying visit past the guys at Miller in Artarmon. They pulled it all apart, replaced a cf leg, fixed it all while I was there in less than an hour as I had to get out shooting for the rest of the job and they didnt charge me a cent. Those guys are amazing!

I too don’t like floor spreaders. Maybe in a studio but I find them awkward to use on uneven ground.

I have the Libec RS350 under an AF100 with various accessories. I share the view that a ground spreader is too limiting and have the mid level spreader. Sticks are well made, stable, and the clip off rubber boots are a nice touch. The spreader is plastic and so had me doubting its durability but it's proved robust enough and locks the legs effectively. Leg locks are knobs - I generally prefer the levers - but a half turn secures them and they hold well.
I was dubious that three torque settings on the pan and tilt would be adequate but find it's all I need. The action is slick with no back bounce or judder. Finding the centre of gravity is simple and fast for setting up and for lens changes.
The bag is canvass and is a neat design but not that well padded. Time will tell if it'll resist rough service or look good after being thrown around the back of the truck for a couple of years.
I looked at Sachtler, Vinten and Miller, the latter I trialled in their store, the other two I assessed by reading available reviews. Libec essentially won on cost but even with hindsight I'm happy with the choice. If I had to find fault it would be that there is no light on the bubble.
