Need Help image sequencing RAW photo timelapse

    Hello folks,

I am in desperate need of assistance. I am a huge fan of timelapse, and I absolutely love making them with my 60D. I've been making RAW images to make into timelapses, but I'm having a lot of trouble. I am aware of two ways to sequence the images into video: 1. Use Quick time 7 and press "open image sequence". 2. Use Compressor to make a video at a chosen frame rate.

The trouble I'm having is that QT7 seems to not allow CR2 images to be sequenced. It accepts jpeg, but not RAW.
In the past I've used Compresser to make a video out of the RAW images. I choose a prores format to convert them to, and then the video is made. Every time I've done that however, it's just made a video that simply will not play smoothly. It jumps 30+ frames at a time. I've tried putting the file on a flash drive, and playing it on my imac instead (of my macbook), but when opened, I just get a black screen. I guess they corrupted?

    THE POINT:
Can someone tell me a good (free) way to make a RAW timelapse? QT 7 seems to be the easy way, but it just won't take my CR2 files. If someone could tell me a way to do it in Compressor, without making the video jumpy, I would really appreciate it. There is a meteor shower tonight that I just can't miss!

    Thanks,

    Miles

I hear you can use Adobe bridge to make this work. I have no idea how to use it. I should add what I've got access to:
    FCP7
    Compressor
    QT7
    Adobe CS5
