That's very interesting. The European version is Walimex, and the availability dates there are completely different than the dates given for the US Rokinons.

    Walimex 35mm Sept 13 - - -Rokinon 35mm August 15
    Walimex 8mm Sept 13 - - - -Rokinon 8mm July 15
    Walimex 24mm August 30 - Rokinon 24mm Sept 15

And they have a set of six lenses (8, 14, 24, 35, 85mm) advertized for 2,499 euros including a pelican type case but its mixed cine and non-cine lenses.

US outlets sell them including B&H:

What is also interesting is that they offer a wide variety of mounts like an E-Mount version too...

Those are just basically slipcovers on top of Zeiss lenses held in place by set screws so they look like CP.2 lenses.

The ad for the zoom (2nd link) says that the original lens is a Nikon 28-70mm F2.8. Basically its a set of gears.

Sue them? Anybody can sue. Will Zeiss want to devote the resources to bring suit in a Chinese court with a look-and-feel case? I doubt that. Are they any good? I hope someone will buy one and report to us. Alas no budget either personally or through the publication for which I write to purchase one. And I honestly doubt that they would send me a review unit. I can always try, though ;)

I realize that this is the F3 board and I do not have an F3 but, this thread seems to be more about the Rokinon Cine lenses, so I am posting a capture that I just did with my AF100 and the Rokinon Cine 35mm T1.5 I just received about half an hour ago.

I think the image is beautiful and am VERY pleased that I took a chance on this lens.
