Hi All, I have an issue.

For toasts at weddings, I've been using my Tascam DR-40 as a recorder for toasts and the reception.

I've had positive experiences using the Tascam DR-40 connected to the speaker via xlr female.

HOWEVER the last two times I've hooked the DR-40 into the DJ sound board via the Master Out RCA, I've had issues. I set the recorder and gain to what the DJ is playing the music at and it sounds great. Once the toasts start however, the audio is recorded VERY low.

I have 2 sets of a sennheiser g3 wireless kits.

I am looking for a way that I can hook a wireless transmitter up to the speaker or DJ sound board and monitor the Tascam Dr-40 with a receiver on my hip.

Unless I'm doing something wrong with the audio to begin with.
