It is HD. The screen can flip. It looks like the one here, but I can't say for sure that it is the same one.

I cannot find any hard specs on audio format for that camera, but I cannot imagine that it is limited to such low-rez audio. There's got to be a setting in there somewhere that switches over to a higher sample rate.

Where are you seeing 11kHz, by the way? Are you looking at movie properties through Windows Media Player or Quicktime?

I was looking in Windows Movie Maker. For the sound my other camera, I think, it told me 48 kHz but for this one 11 kHz.

"Windows Movie Maker, I believe, will take mixed sample rates"
-- Sony's Vegas can also have files with different sample rates. (and different bit depths as well) The mix is re-sampled when rendered to whatever is set by the user.. normally 48 kHz.
Vimeo and YouTube are gonna re-compress them anyway no matter what the sample rate.

True, but compressing the audio to 44.1kHz AAC at 192kbps while the video is compressed to h.264 makes the file size smaller (to keep within upload limits).
