I wonder if that would work with Resolve (light) and Premiere.
SInce both applications don't support more than one graphic card in the moment, maybe that would be a solution.

Hey Frank.
This might surprise you but both those apps will support 2 graphics cards and Resolve actually needs two.
Here is what I have setup and I discovered it kind of by accident .
Resolve needs a Card for the GUI and one for video processing.
Premiere uses the same one for both (but maybe not...)
Obviously the GUI needs for Resolve differs from Premiere.
ie. A powerfiul card needed for Premiere and not so much for Resolve.
I had a GTX670 - 4GB (1344 cuda cores) and a GTX 560 -1GB (400 + cuda cores)so what was I going to do.
I Installed the 560 in Slot one as Primary card (GUI) without a cuda hack for Premiere and then I installed the 670 in slot 4 with a cuda hack.
Both apps see and use the 560 for GUIs ...but the magic is...Premiere sees the 670 because it has the hack and uses that for cuda processing MPE etc.
Effectively both apps using two cards.
without a cuda hack is the important step.
BTW: I also have a BM HD SDI card running tin this system.
Note the two cards were carefully chosen for power consumption as well as cuda cores. I only had two slots capable of running them and the order of the slots is important.
Good luck.www.shooterfilm.co.nz

Wow, you learn something on this board every day.
Already have a 560 - so I gonna get a 670 and try that.
Gotta check first, I have enough space on my motherboard for both and the BM card, cause the graphic cards alone would take up 4 slots - and I probably would need to upgrade my Power supply too.
Thanks for the heads up Craig.

Yes. They are double cards and they will cover other slots.
I had to juggle my cards a little and lost having any slot for my USB 3 card. (no biggie)
Those two cards are 170watt max each. I have 850watt PSU
Just for the record. I am aware of others that have had the same success as I have with this. Just so you dont feel like a "guinea pig".
Meant to mention. I installed theGe Force Monitoring Software to keep an eye on temps. No issues at all but they do rise when they are working. Keep this in mind.www.shooterfilm.co.nz

Shooter,
If you ever get a chance to play with benchmarking your system, it might be interesting to see what the incremental value of the 670 is over the 560.
You would have to play with the hacks of course, to enable the 560 and disable the 670, etc.
I also have a GTX 560 with 2GB DDR5. When I get a chance in Septemeber, I am going to rebuild my computer with the 560, 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda in RAID 0, and a 120 GB SSD as a scratch disk (not OS disk.)
I plan on benchmarking at each step just to see what the relative values are of the GPU, RAID, and SSD scratch.
I hope the PPBM6.com benchmark suite is up and running soon. It includes Red streams and other more challenging renders over the previous version, PPBM5.com
I love **data**! We get so much unfopunded opinion and BS. It is nice to actually know something for a change!
FWIW, I have seen a lot of Mac Pro configurations lately where they installed a GTX 560 or 570 for the CUDA cores only, and used a stock GT 420 or whatever for the actual video card. That has to be the biggest PITA on the Mac's, the video adapter support is so limited vs. Win 7.
Best.

Sorry Michael
I have absolutely zero interest in benchmarking computers.
IMOComputers are for editing ...not racing.
If mine are stable , fast and getting the business done... hassle free...good enough for me.
Cheers

Would that (multi GPU enclosure) work with Resolve and Premiere?
