I just got a Sony FS700 so I am new to AVCHD. I am on Mac with Snow Leopard and using CS5 Premiere and After Effects.

I'm re-wrapping the .MTS files into quicktimes using Media Converter v1.2. I used the "Re-wrap AVCHD for Quicktime with uncompressed audio" preset and it seems to work well. EXCEPT, when I import the re-wrapped Quicktime, it always comes in at 24fps instead of the 23.976 like the original .MTS clip.

The strange thing is when I view the "Info" panel of the re-wrapped quicktime in the quicktime application, the frame rate is listed as 23.98 (Quicktime does not do smaller decimals such as 23.976) which is the correct frame rate.

What am I missing here? How do I get my Media Composer re-wrapped quicktimes to come in at 23.976 fps instead of 24 fps?

Scratch that, I just tried out ClipWrap and it does the same thing as Media Converter, except it brings it on as 23.976.
