Does anyone have experience of using this family of cards with a hacked GH2?

I haven't been able to find up to date threads on the SD card subject so apologies if I'm duplicating threads.

What are considered the most reliable/best card for use with a high Mbit/sec stream from a hacked GH2?

Thanks for any up to date info.

I have, I have the 64GB 95MBs card but I still found many of the hacks including many of those by Driftwood would still crash when recording over 5 mins especially in conditions where lighting was less than optimal.

I got myself for about 2/3rds the price a 45MB/s 128GB card instead and I use the Cake hack which is fantastically reliable, I've recorded easily around an hour continuos without any problems.

Card I now prefer to use (you can record almost 3-4 hours in Cake with it):

In fact if you're UK based I may well take an offer to sell the 64GB card if that's what you're really after...

Anybody try DELKIN DEVICES 633x SDHC cards on a hacked GH2? I have heard good results in a range of shooting scenarios on the 5DMK3, both video and stills.

I believe I'm on 2.2, I've got a mate on it too that films events and we've never once had a crash, I consider it as good as the stock firmware for reliability. If you're into events or documentary filming it's the hack I'd go for, better quality than the stock GH2 whilst keeping reliability. I expect I'll flash 2.3 at a later date.

Cake is approx 2-2.5x stock bit rates.

I should add I think I've done around an hour continuos as I've only needed to, but with an external battery I'd expect this hack to record as long as needed.

    Thanks.

Does anyone make a "Panny approved" external battery for the GH2?

Yes, I got my card from Amazon. Works great with very few lockups. Go to personal-view.com to see more info but this is the real deal if you want to run high bit rate hacks. Expensive but hey, P2 cards were $1000 and those sony cards are $$$. Make sure you get it from a legit place.

That's strange. I have the same card and recorded a 40 minute continuous take with Sedna running at 24H with no problems.
