d3200 external monitor using av out possible?

Hi, about the nikon d3200 i would like to know if it is possible to use an external monitor using the av out cable when the live view is enable.

I know it is possible using hdmi, but the av out would let me use a cheap wireless lcd monitor.

can some owner test this please? thanks.

You can test this yourself with the composite video output (RCA connector, Yellow) connected to the composite video input of any TV (LCD, CRT, it doesn't matter). If it works on your living room telly, it will work with a cute and adorable little field monitor as long as it is equipped with the required composite video input port.

the problem is i do not have the d3200
i am considering buy... so i cannot test myself...
