Dumb question, but I'm confused if there's two different versions of the notkor 50mm (and NO NO NO I do not mean the new 50mm CINE t.95 lens).

2010 - 50mm $750 Noktor released to mixed reviews
2011 - SLR Magic buys out Noktor, re released the lens now costing $1000 and gets better reviews
2012 - SLR Magic custom makes the new CINE .95 lens

Am I correct in that there are two different versions of the noktor hyperprime (notkor branded at $750 then SLR MAGIC re-release at $1000) or did SLR Magic just re - release the same lens at a higher price?

The higher price and better reviews under the SLR Magic name lead me to believe it's different (haven't followed up on Noktor and lost interest wanting an actual Nokton by Voigtlander).
