    Hello,

I have a few projects that were originally created using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11. I would now like to burn Blu Ray dvd's using Adobe Encore CS6. What is the best way to export or render the original project from Vegas. I have to render in Vegas on an older PC and then move the files over to the new PC ond create the project in Adobe Encore. The old PC does not have a Blu Ray Burner so burning directly from Vegas is not an option.

    Thank you,

One way I'd do it (although there are many different ways) is to export a master from Vegas, using either Cineform or DNxHD codec, then import that into Encore and do the BD transcoding in Encore. I have zero experience with Vegas, but that's the way I'd do it using the Adobe suite.

Thank you for the response. I will check Sony Vegas and see if it will output in one of those formats. I would assume/hope that one of thos 2 formats will give the best quality output?

Use the free version of Cineform, it's basicly lossless: http://gopro.com/3d-cineform-studio-software-download/
