I am going to buy a Canon XA10 for a new project. It'll come with me on the road for months, and I chose the guy cause it has great abilities for a tiny size. I'm torn between getting a used one for a few hundred less from an online posting or springing for full price from B&H but with the assurance it was treated well. Thoughts? I always have a hard time with this decision!

I'd buy new, unless you can get your hands on the used model to try it out a bit before you buy. Remember that you're getting a warranty with the new purchase as well.

Is it penny-wise, pound-foolish to buy a used XA10?
