Finished a short video on how to order snacks for a high end hotel client of mine (their in house channel). The FAQ said to submit the video as an MPEG2 file (1920x1080i). I followed the directions and all was fine.
Today, the client called and said they now need it as an .mt2 file. What exports this file format? From what I can tell, Avid MC 6.0 nor Sorenson Squeeze 7 does. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

.mt2 is an MPEG 2 transport file. That's the same wrapper that many broadcast playout servers use. I'm not sure, but I think that MPEG Streamclip (free!) can wrap your MPEG2 files as .mt2.

Arniepix, I did look at mpeg streamclip first because it is so awesome, but unless Im a dope (always a possibility) I could figure how to wrap it with this.
