Sold it. Pretty small great glass I mean it's a Zeiss. I couldnt get over the small filter size and the pure lack of e-mount quality glass. So I sold all my e mounts, just figured I'd go with all a-mounts. For the thousand dollar tag you could get ( if ya don't have). The Rokinon 85mm and the Rokinon 35mm. Or any other combo, heard pretty good things about the 24mm Rokinon. Just seems there's money better spent other ways if ya ask me.

As you see above I ready have Rokinon 85/1.4 .. and maybe I will get 35/1.4.. but I'm not sure - I've got Rokinon 24/1.4 about a month ago.. and return it back after just one day of shooting - light falloff and sharpness not good enough for $750..
Rokinon 85/1.4 have noticable ( greenish/reddish )chromatic aberration in out-of-focus areas.. .. all of Rokinon lenses is NOT the same quality, as this Sony Zeiss 24/1.8 lens in my opinion..

...also.... SOMETIMES (!!) I would prefer to use NEW FOCUSING OPTIONS on my FS-700: "Spot Focus", "Focus Transition", "Push Auto Focus", "Focus Hold" and "Face Detection" ... .. instead to hire focus puler....
NONE of that funtions work with Sony A-mount lenses!! ...

    IMHO.. of course

It's also a nice lens for glidecam work. Lightweight. 24mm nice balance between wide and long for any use. Use it outside or inside on the glidecam, no need to rebalance the glidecam. Quality. Black doesn't hurt. Plus on the FS700 you don't have to fiddle with add on ND filters while on the glidecam. No image stabilization, but some say on a wide lens it isn't need as much.

Don't get me wrong its a great lens. But $1000 or grab for $1200 the 24 Zeiss 2.0 which will work on your new Sony A99 full frame also....That's my play assuming it ever appears was what I was kinda facing. So by by e-mount. If the offerings of the e-mount line looked like for a second that they would give more options, I would have kept.
