So I bought this generic battery for the the EX1R and it arrived today.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...ht_1683wt_1398
Battery arrives fully charged I'd like to note because I am not sure if that is odd or not.
Anyways, each time I attempt to connect it, I get one of two voltage warnings, depending on where I set my battery alarm info at, and one beeping noise.
Battery comes in connecting at 12.1~12.6 range according to the camera. Shouldn't that be accepted by the camera? Of course as soon as a warning pops up it drops to 11.1.
I read somewhere about a guy with a similar issue, different battery, was told by the battery's manufacture to simply do a reset of the camera. I'm not to keen on removing all my settings. Or could this battery be bad? Anyone else use knock offs?
Any help anyone?
I would also add I am using 2 MXR Readers. Not sure if that matters or not. I've tried taking them out and still get voltage warnings.
Thanks.

Where did you get the batteries from? Can you post the link? That sounds really dodgy. I would be suspicious about recieving warnings like that. I bought batteries for my EX1 and they came fully charged. I think if the battery is charged it has a better shelf life.

Voltage Messages, knock off battery, think the battery is bad though....
