Just completed a large platform track dolly from a few parts around the house
and this dolly wheel kit.

The wheels are excellent. I am about to ad a push bar to the dolly. It can hold 2 people.

That looks well made, problem is that It doesn't look like its the standard width, if you ever want to use real dolly track (including curved) you'll have a hard time converting it

24.5 center to center is the standard width. But is still looks great.

rip the motor off of anything that is broken, but something hefty, like a chainsaw, motorcycle, moped, mower, etc. Add an axle behind it, a rubber wheel that gets good traction, run it along the track, run a belt from the edge of the wheel back to the motor, and voila. However, that will be loud and will kill any audio. during that shoot. Alternatively, use an electric motor. But you'll have to get one out of something like a gocart. and add a battery or two. Shouldn't need more than two because you won't need days of charge like on a golf cart. Also, if you are shooting inside, you could just hook it straight up to the wall
