I am working in fcp 7 all of my footage was shot on a 5d and is formatted apple pro res 422 LT. I want to export it in an appropriate size on the small end to share via yousendit. Com please help me figure out the best way to achieve this. The sequence is roughly an hour is it possible to get this exported in a fairly small size to share with someone ?

Well that depends on how small you want it. At an hour long it's going to probably be a bit larger, but it depends on the resolution you want to export at. Can you give me an idea? Have you tried any of the video-sharing presets in Compressor to get an idea?

The resolution is driven by the fact that I don't want to surpass 2gb because I want to share this thru a file sharing site that has a 2gb limit. I don't know if I can do this in fcp or I need to use compressor. I don't know if I export to quick time or qt conversion. Any step by step tutorial would be amazing. Thanks for your response.
